D2D
Database to Database - D2D is used to extract property and applicant information in any format from a variety of software packages and interpret that into a standard comparable and searchable format.
This process can be a one off up-load at the start of using a new system or be used to keep two solutions running harmoniously in parallel e.g. a Choice solution from us works in tandem with an Orchard arcHouse system for Sunderland Housing Group.
D2D converts inputted data to a common format. This means that D2D requires far less modification than a 'standard' database interpreter tool and can very quickly be adapted to new applications at economic cost. The key advantages of D2D are that it can:
- import data from any database regardless of the format the data is in
- accurately represent the data into an XML (open) format
- avoid re-keying of information into more than one software package
- keep a number of databases synchronised
- be easily integrated (often set up in just one day)
